THE RIVER CANTEEN, BATH

The River Canteen opened in October 2011, the very concept being to use the beautiful space we are set in, overlooking the River Avon, to offer modern Italian cuisine at affordable prices, please do not let our extravagant surroundings deceive, we are a humble family run trattoria at heart.

Chef Pasquale Rea's modern Italian menu strives to cater for all, from the carnivorous or pescatarian four course dinner, to a simple plate of pasta on a rainy lunch time. Not forgetting Pizzas for the Bambinos, which we are always delighted to host! Everything is produced fresh on the premises to continuously improving standards

We are able to cater for groups of all sizes, be it a romantic dinner for two, or a standing function of up to two-hundred guests. Our bar is always available for hire, for a weekday business meeting with coffees and a light bite, or a Prosecco fuelled occasion, accompanied by Chef Pasquale's Mediterranean inspired canapés.
